That's what happens when this joke of a government follows advice from Ryanair

JuggernautAncient654

When did they ever follow advice from Ryanair?

MrEmeralddragon

The only thing thats truly changed recently is that more folk have been returning to work in the office. A lot of people around each other in enclosed spaces without adequate ventilation or air conditioning with a HEPA filtration system built in. Mask or no mask of course people are going to spread covid around. Fact is though that most people are either inoculated or have had the virus and are thus safer than those who were inoculated and a good chunk of those also got the inoculation anyway. The number of cases these days is ultimately meaningless. This eejit has no clue what he is talking about nor do the majority of the politicians.

CaptainDamageTown

Thank god those people in ICU are meaningless.

MrEmeralddragon

The people matter but the number doesnt. That number is only going to go down. As I said previously most folk have had it or ar inoculated or both. The number of people that havent been exposed to it in one form or another is falling every day so the number of cases may be spiking due to our mass testing but the numbers in genuine distress as a result as a percentage of cases is constantly decreasing and as we know full well even if we stayed locked down the spread would continue regardless. We have missed enough of our lives over the last year as it is and it ultimately meant nothing.

CaptainDamageTown

Oh you are one of those. Never mind.

MrEmeralddragon

What exactly do you mean by "one of those"?

JuggernautAncient654

Could you please elaborate on who you are referring to when you say "one of those"

Mick_86

We've done lockdowns and we've done vaccinations. If they haven't stopped Covid in the last two years, it's not going to be stopped at all, so the government might as well just return the country to pre-Covid normality.

JuggernautAncient654

The only thing the government will return the country to is a full lockdown, same as last year all so that we can have a "meaningful Christmas" which really means go out and spend a fortune on gifts and other unnecessary goods so that the government can get their share in revenue and taxes amd then lock us down again. Rinse amd repeat.
