Nice timing. Hopefully buying our first home in the near future and got my eye on a ~ 2x3m room for guest room/home theatre so great to get some inspiration.

This guys small HT, is nuts. If he can post pics, it amazing what's been done in a small space. Bass is flat to 4hz? Been awhile, so I don't remember exactly. u/richardsim7

Thanks for the shoutout! [Here it is in its current state](https://imgur.com/a/zn2To29), but updates coming soon...

HYPURRDBLNKL

I thought of you instantly when I saw this post. Luckily you posted earlier today, because I couldn't remember your full user name, lol. 👍

concentus7

Ah yes, I remember this one fondly, well done mate. Any plans for acoustic treatment?

richardsim7

Indeed, those are included in the aformentioned updates ;) Just gotta stop being lazy and measure everything, and get the panels built :P

I feel awkward thanking one person specifically (I started the thread) but this one is of special interest to me as my H/T is exactly 10' x 10' as well. Thanks for sharing, and nice to see a Atmos/DTS-X setup in a small space.

mellofello808

It is definitely doable, and you can achieve some pretty good sound. Less than ideal conditions of course, but I worked with what I had. Land is very expensive here.

VA3JME

Yeah mine is a 10x10 space too. I need to get some pictures, but it's so messy right now I am a little embarrassed... maybe I could use photoshop to do some cleaning LOL

mellofello808

It takes planning, and the exact right furniture, but it is possible to be comfy, and entertained I. A small space.

StrongCategory

TV too high, I know. But here's the 10x10 room from the center couch. 5.2.4 set up with some consoles and a popcorn maker. Nothing fancy. https://imgur.com/a/Yn8jSoU

concentus7

I'm sure there's some HT gear in that picture somewhere.

StrongCategory

Sure is! Nice reply. Thanks man

VA3JME

Another 10x10 like my space. Thanks! Good to see I am either not losing my mind, or am in good company, trying to squeeze H/T into such a "small" space.

Wasatch2

Currently rocking a 5.2.2 setup with a 65” Sony 900H in a 10’x13’ corner of my basement lol it’s great but can’t wait for my new house to be done so I’ll have a dedicated space.

Wasatch2

Sorry guys the link I was trying to get to work was giving me issues.

VA3JME

I wish I had 10' x 13'! Currently looking for a new home and one of the requirments is a properly sized H/T space... 10x10 right now. Still have not settled on what would be the minimum in the new space but thinking 15 x 20 min. Would love to see pics of your space.

Wasatch2

This was a while ago but can give you a good idea. Have don’t quite a few visual and audio upgrades since then. https://www.reddit.com/r/BudgetAudiophile/comments/ke42bf/slowly_turned_our_unfinished_basement_into_a/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

Suddenly so much is SO clear.

vish_NZ

I just don't even. Reading all your comments the last month while I stalk this subreddit for advice I expected the complete opposite....

cheesecakemelody

Oh WOW there is a lot happening here.

concentus7

Oof

faceman2k12

If you clean it out and change the furniture around you could get so much more out of that.

VA3JME

Wow thanks everyone! Keep 'em coming!
