What is better AIO or Air cooling?
By - MEMREFEE
better is a really loose term.
it's ultimately an opinion
Only real difference is that the aio takes longer to reach equilibrium temperature while the air cooler won't nuke your system if it breaks.
So air cooling would be a safer choice?
I would say air cooling. I've seen some comparison videos and it looked like air cooling was pretty equivalent to an AIO. But I guess to be fair, I don't really plan on overclocking my CPU, etc so I wasn't ever really into an AIO.
If you want something that gets the job done and it's simple, air.
If you're enthusiast about custom RIGs and want something more fancy than air cooling, AIO.
If you're very enthusiast about custom RIGs and don't mind making mainteinance every few months, custom liquid cooling.
If you have to ask whether you should pick air or AIO, go for air, it's newbie friendly.
Any AiO is wasted on a Ryzen 3000 CPU.
